I'll ask about your business, where things are at, and what you're hoping for. You ask me anything you like. By the end we'll both know whether this is going to work. If it's not the right fit, I'll tell you, and you'll still walk away with some clarity on where to focus next.

Let’s get Clarity

If we're a good fit, this is where the real work begins. Before any ongoing engagement, I want to understand your business properly. Not just the part that's feels loudest right now. I want to dig into the root cause/s for long term serious change, and I also don’t want you to waste your time, money and energy.

Over a series of deep-dive sessions, we work through all nine lenses together. Strategy, people, operations, brand, marketing, cashflow, customer experience, and you as the owner. You get a comprehensive findings report, a prioritised set of recommendations, and a 90-day roadmap, whether you continue working with Outlign or not.

Most clients say the Clarity Audit alone changes how they see their business.

Where the real shifts happen

This is where the picture starts to look very different, and it starts to feel better (and hopefully your sleep, too).

For most clients, that means Momentum - regular advisory sessions where you implement and I make sure every decision you're making is connected to the whole. Your team starts to understand the direction. The noise quiets. You stop circling the same ceiling.

This is not about you not being capable of making the right decisions for your business! This is me supporting you to get back to the point where your capacity is able to do so. Making decisions from an overwhelmed, stressed place, is what has gotten you here in the first place.

For some, it means Traction - where I come in and do the work with you. The systems get built. The processes get documented. The things that have been on the list for years actually get done. Your business gets the foundations it always needed — properly installed, not patched.

Either way, here's what changes: you stop carrying it alone.

By Phase 2 of Traction, or six months into Momentum, the version of the business you've been trying to get to starts to feel real. Not perfect. But solid. Moving. Built on something that actually holds.

And I'm still there, thinking about your business between sessions, bringing ideas when they come up, flagging things I notice. Not just showing up for the scheduled hour.

Because changes take time to become truly embedded into the business (and yourself and your team). And road bumps are to be expected, let alone maybe your business needs to pivot and we need to adapt quickly. We can become a part of your team longer term to keep the wheels on the track. What this looks like can be discussed at any time so that you have the security of it being lasting change.

Outlign works best with owners who are done sitting on what they know.

I work with a small number of clients at any one time, deliberately. It's the only way to be genuinely invested in each one… plus I am an Accountability Queen, and I’m invested in you and your business. I don’t do this half-arsed.

After one conversation with you, my brain won’t be able to switch off thinking about all the things that could be done to support you! (seriously)

That means I'm selective, and I'd encourage you to be too. Ongoing advisory only works when both sides are ready for it - honest feedback, real commitment, and a willingness to act on what comes out of it. Not perfectly, not all at once. But genuinely.

If the timing isn't right yet, the honest answer is to start with a Clarity Audit and revisit from there. That's a completely valid outcome of the discovery call.

  • Yes. 20 minutes (I always go way over), no charge, no obligation. We use it to talk about your business and whether working together makes sense. If it does, great. If it does not, you still leave with a clearer view of where you are.

  • Book the call anyway. You do not need to have it all figured out before you reach out. Most people who land on this page are not sure. The call helps you work out whether the timing is right or whether something smaller (like a Focus Session) is a better starting point.

  • Either. If you are in Newcastle, the Hunter or the Central Coast, we can meet in person. Anywhere else in Australia, we do it on Zoom (or travel fees apply). You pick what suits you when you book.

  • Yes, bring them. The more decision-makers on the call, the more useful it is. We can spot quickly whether you are aligned on what is going on, which matters more than any answer I could give you.

  • Usually within the same week. Pick a time that works in the booking widget and you are sorted. If you need something faster, head to the contact page and let me know.

  • I will tell you. And I will point you toward someone who is a better match where I can. Saying no to the wrong fit protects both of us. The discovery call is designed to surface that early, not late.

  • Probably. Outlign works across most service-based, trade and small-medium businesses. The methodology is industry-agnostic because the nine lenses apply to almost any business. If your industry has specialist regulatory needs (financial planning, legal, medical), I will connect you with the right specialists alongside the advisory work.
